What we collect
The application collects only what the program needs:
- Your name and contact details (email, phone)
- Your college or university and enrollment level (undergraduate/graduate)
- Any details you volunteer when contacting us
We do not ask for essays, transcripts, or financial information at the application stage. Enrollment documentation is requested only from the selected recipient, for verification before payment.
How we use it
- To administer the Scholarship: confirming eligibility, selection, notification, verification, and payment
- To answer questions you send us
- To publish the winner announcement — only with the recipient's written consent
Application data is not used for marketing, is not sold, and is not used to solicit advisory business. Applying creates no client relationship with the Sponsor.
Who processes it
Applications are submitted through the program's online form (hosted on the program's WordPress platform). The scholarship will also be listed on Bold.org. If you apply through a third-party scholarship platform, that platform's own privacy policy also applies to what you submit there. Within the Sponsor, application data is accessible only to the people administering the Scholarship.
How long we keep it
Application data for a cycle is retained through that cycle and for a limited period afterward for record-keeping, then deleted. Records relating to the paid award are kept as long as tax and legal record-keeping requires.
Your choices
- Access or deletion: email scholarship@pelicanfamilyofficescholarship.com to ask what we hold about you or to request deletion. Deleting an application before the deadline withdraws it.
- Publicity: winner publicity is opt-in by written consent and can be declined without affecting the award.
